Join our “Basic SUP Skills” lesson, designed for beginners eager to try something new or for those who have some experience and want to sharpen their skills.
Our lessons are administered by a Nationally Certified Paddle Canada Instructor, ensuring you receive top-notch guidance and expertise.
This 60 minute paddleboard lesson teaches everything you need to know to get started in stand-up paddling.
In calm, enclosed waters, you’ll learn essential skills including launching, landing, forward and turning strokes, and safety awareness.
This lesson is perfect for beginners, so no prior experience is necessary. Just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
Lesson price includes equipment rental.

When you sign up and complete the Basic SUP Skills course, you’ll earn 2 credits towards a free rental. This means that not only will you be learning a new and exhilarating sport, but you’ll also be working your way towards future adventures with us – all at no extra cost!

Cancellation and Weather Policy
Because our lessons and rentals have a limited number of spots available, we cannot refund or reschedule cancellations within 24 hours. If we have to cancel the lesson due to weather, or other circumstances you will receive a full refund.

To join our loyalty program, simply make your first rental reservation! When you make a purchase and create an account, you are automatically enrolled in our loyalty program. You can earn 1 point per rental, plus bonus points when you book one of our packages.
Best of all, you can use your points to redeem towards anything in our shop! Make your first reservation and start earning now.
We require at least 2 hours’ notice for any cancellation. This allows us to adjust our schedules and make the rental available to other customers. Prepaid reservations will receive a full refund on the original form of payment within 5-7 business days.
Group Bookings:
Reservations of 8 or more will require a 50% deposit. A full refund will be given if canceled 24 hrs prior to the scheduled booking time.
Weather-Related Cancellations:
Safety is our top priority, and we understand that weather conditions can impact your rental plans. Here’s how we handle weather-related cancellations:
Severe Weather:
If severe weather conditions (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds, etc.) are forecasted, we may not operate and will need to cancel your reservation for safety reasons. In such cases, we will offer you the option to reschedule your rental or receive a full refund.
Customer-Initiated Weather Cancellations:
If you decide to cancel your reservation due to weather conditions, the standard cancellation policy applies. However, if you believe the weather presents a safety concern, please contact us to discuss your options.
Rescheduling Policy:
We understand that sometimes you may not want to cancel but simply need to reschedule your rental. Our rescheduling policy is designed to be flexible and accommodating
Rescheduling Limitations:
You can reschedule your reservation up to two times without incurring any additional fees. Further rescheduling requests may be subject to additional charges or limitations based on availability.
